On Nov 1, 2025, Amaira, a Class 4 student, died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor of the Neerja Modi School in Jaipur.

She had been bullied for 18 months, with classmates targeting her using "bad words," many of which carried sexual undertones. However, her class teacher repeatedly dismissed complaints from both Amaira and her parents, telling them instead that she needed to adjust to the other kids.

The parents have now released the school CCTV footage they obtained to the public. The footage reveals that even on the day of her death, Amaira approached the teacher multiple times for help but was ignored.

Hard to believe that teachers, even at such posh schools, are not trained to handle severe bullying or recognize a child in deep psychological distress. Totally preventable death.

जब प्रदेश-प्रमुख ही सरेआम एक मृतक की माँ के साथ असंवेदनशील होने का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करेंगे तो उनकी पुलिस से कोई उम्मीद करना बेमानी है।

Can anyone please tell me why this Meerut SSP Avinash Pandey beat up that Dalit protester ..
When clearly he was inside a locked police van and absolutely not a threat or nuisance anymore....

So.. why did Pandey beat him up.
First, is it legal for SSP to beat prisoners in police van..
And second is it a Pandey thing.. that he got angry on a Dalit..
Just trying to understand.

A BBC investigation recently exposed how Instagram reportedly allowed paid ads linked to child sexual exploitation content. The Indian govt later issued notice to Meta.

Instagram was once a photo sharing app. Now half the feed feels like an attention olympics where thirst traps and soft porn like content keep winning because that’s what drives engagement.

But the line gets crossed when moderation fails so badly that even ads linked to child exploitation can slip through.

But who takes responsibility when such content impacts millions of users in real life and become accessible at the tap of a finger? At what point do we stop treating everything as ‘just engagement’ and start asking about the real world impact?
