The question arises why would a Hindu woman whose customs and traditions are far different from a Muslim name her son after him? Was the blessing given by the Muslim peer’s hand or through the middle stick present in every man?

What further solidifies my doubt is Jijubaby’s father and mother both never liked Shahjee and Jado rao also disrespected Maloji by refusing to recognise Shahji Bhonslay as their son in Law. Reservations isn't a contract. The only contract the Depressed Classes made was the Poona Pact.

1. Poona Pact isn't a contract with the State. Its own text says: an agreement between the leaders of the Depressed Classes and “the rest of the community.” Ambedkar on one side, Malaviya and other caste-Hindu leaders on the other. The British ONLY ACCEPTED it.

2. Poona Pact granted 148 reserved seats in provincial legislatures, under joint electorates. Reservations in jobs? Clause 8 fixes no quota. It only says “every endeavour shall be made” for fair representation. There was no promise of reservations. It also promised some funds for education. Thats about it.

3. And the man who signed it for the Depressed Classes turned on it himself. Ambedkar, 1945: Congress “sucked the juice out of the Poona Pact and threw the rind in the face of the Untouchables.” By 1947, he was asking the Constituent Assembly to scrap its joint electorates but constituency assembly rejected it.

Indian state, GC &OBC honoured Poona pact even when it had no legal enforcibility.

So facts are: Reservation isn't a contract or treaty with the Indian State. It's an enabling provision. Any Indian citizen Brahmin, Baniya, Yadav, Kumri, Kayastha, Gujju Patel, Parsi, Sikh, Muslim or Christian has a right to question it whenever he wants. Tumhari Bapauti nhi hai reservations.

Reservation is not your right. It is just a provision.
