Once again we’d like to say a big thanks to everyone for your continuous support. This has been our busiest week this year, in excess of 250 visitors, 100 of those being pupils from across 7 local schools, many customers at #theivydencafe and families enjoying the #forestgarden.
Thanks to Terry Wain, a volunteer behind Cleavley Community Forest Garden in Eccles. Terry rallied together great names across the construction world who supported the build of the Community Workshop - we donated 150m2 of insulation. Supported by @SalfordCVS@IncrEdibleEdu
A big thank you to everyone who came along & had a picnic in the 🌳Forest Garden🌳. It was great to see everyone enjoying the space & supporting the work of our #volunteers and staff! If you missed out today, then why not join us next Thursday and every Thursday in August.
New to the #community Edible Garden is this Mountain Spinach. Needs a couple of weeks to set roots and then it will provide lots of delicious leaf to eat!
It’s ‘Picnic Thursday’ down at #CCFG! We’re open a little earlier today, #theivydencafe is open now serving delicious ManCoCo coffee ☕️ and #organic tea 🫖 by Storm Tea 🫖
On this Valentines Day we wish @IncrEdibleSal🎉Happy 8th Anniversary🎉!
IE Salford launched on 14th of February 2013 after @IanBocock visited a very cold & snowy Todmorden on the 13th of Feb, and then returning to Salford founded the new group. Well done all for 8 amazing years!
