@LeicsPilgrim@BUFCSupporter On Grimes/Rooney, that's a tough one. We defo need the experience of Grimes, but Rooney is a Rolls Royce of a player at this level. But he wouldn't bring that experience and did have the odd rush of blood last season. Interesting dilema, maybe we can get both!
@LeicsPilgrim@BUFCSupporter Not really Rich. We have 2 left backs (Shipley and Mauro) with Lanshear as cover. 6 CM's for 2 spots. 5 CB's for 2 spots. 2 GK's. 4 attacking players for 4 spots (hence we need at least 3 more).
23/24 isn't a massive squad, had similar amount last season, matchday squad is 18.
@BUFCSupporter@leenewell1 Kelly 100% has to go. Lankshear is a defo to keep for me. Had a decent season until we got Rooney and Grimes in Jan. Carson preferred at LB unless we actually needed to defend then Lankshear preferred. The other 3 depends if Hurst feels he can develop them...
@BUFCSupporter@PLarthwell Check the squad page now, Frankie, Richo, Cropper and Hiwula all removed. Sort of says both Hiwula and Cropper are also not signing. 13 players but at least 3 need moving on. Hurst has a big job on his hands.
@Chrisgreen1967@BUFCSupporter I always think the opposite, rush in and we end paying over the odds for average players. The longer the Summer goes on, the better player that can be got for the same money. Our best have been got after the season started recently, Jai Rowe, Connor Teale and Matty Carson...
@BUFCSupporter@PLarthwell Pretty sure it has. Carson, Mills etc. have all been removed. Since season ended the keeper has signed after initially being offered terms and been added. Hazel has rejected and been removed. All left are either signed, offered or in talks.
@BUFCSupporter@PLarthwell They are still in talks with Hiwula and Cropper. Looking at the website both are still listed along with RIcho and Frankie:

Do you think the keeper will be 1st choice, or will it be like last season bring another in and let them battle it out?

@matthewnundy@BUFCSupporter Hurst has already said that some on the 2 year deals will not be part of the playing squad. So if there isn't a deal done with another club then I'd expect some of them to go out on seasnon long loans. Tend to agree with 5, but some have potential to improve.
@bazza1115 Love the pic and how happy you both are. After years of near misses finally got us over the line, and with a very attractive brand of football. Laid the foundations for what the club is now achieving, thanks to you both for lifelong memories for me and my 2 lads.
@Frankie44444@TalkingArse@bostonunited Who I replied to, not you. The quote was "the retained list would struggle to make the bench", or words to that effect. Personally don't agree with that opinion. There are some, but not all, as per my answer.
@TalkingArse@Frankie44444@bostonunited Retained players Hill, Teale, Shop and Cursons all starters in a team that was 4th in form since Hurst took over. A few of the others have potential, like Donnelly and Lankshear. So don't agree they would be "bench warmers". Biggest issue is replacing loans and keeping Frankie.
@TalkingArse@Frankie44444@bostonunited Mills, injured more than plays. Great player and servant but time for him to go. Sloggett was decent last season, but never got anywhere near this season. Carson agree is a loss. 1/2
Was hoping Carson and Barrington would stay, outside that no surprises really. Mills great player and servant but injuries have caught up with him.
PH's biggest issues is persuading Frankie (and maybe Richo) to stay and replacing the loan players.

@beefeater407@LeicsPilgrim@bostonutdstats Last 3 years has been 68 and 71 twice. So based on that yes. But think it'll be more this year. So even 8 wins from 8 won't be enough, not that is going to happen even with the upturn in form.
@beefeater407@bostonutdstats Yeah we'd need to proper implode now and not win any of our last 8. Given we have very winable home games v Alty and Truro and away v Brackley and Solihull I cannot see a world where we don't win at least a couple of those given our form and those we have to play.
