@OfficialHuey hey man what's that immense "I'm a baaaaaaaaaaad brother" sample from on your show?
Thought it was Eazy E (from Eazy Does It, same words) but seems not
@KennyTheKen86@OfficialHuey Oh man, would you be willing to share them? I only discovered Huey on 6 music a year or so ago, would love to hear some of the older mixes. I'm on the hunt for more now, will send any others your way too
@OfficialHuey hey man are you doing some kind of patreon or moving to another radio station? Highlight of my week listening to you these past few years, really hope you're not giving up on it all
@corruptNovelist@DaftLimmy Cultural climate way more amenable to these one man one vision projects now. He could make a decent income from various avenues, whether podcast, audiobook, ebook or the motherlode, randomly released homemade shows, via patreon. So many options! Take a year out then come back big
@corruptNovelist@DaftLimmy This is what gets me. I'm v glad Limmy is happy and unstressed, but a guy with his level of talent could and should leave a solid body of work. A few YouTube compilations isn't that. More something like the very early Glasgow podcasts, swerving bullshit from TV commissioners etc
@franticplanet So weird. Even my girlfriend was convinced she'd seen it suggested on Youtube.
Anyway, I need to say that 9 months later, Kempmas Carol is still the worst thing I've ever seen. Put me in a black mood for weeks. Horrible, ugly rancid shit. An absolute masterpiece.
@franticplanet am I losing my mind or did you publish a video about Roland Rat to YouTube a few weeks ago? Can't see it anywhere, been saving it special too
@skylinermcr And let's do this for all the many other moneygrubbing chancers swooping in on Manchester to make a quick sleazy buck. I'd absolutely crowdfund someone to keep an eye on all this shit if anyone's game
@skylinermcr Just reviving this to suggest leaving reviews on their Facebook page (and other social media) stating what they're actually up to https://t.co/4T3iviEjyx
@skylinermcr @ManchesterMill@guardian Definitely. Pitch to Mill or Guardian - it's right up both streets.
Property developers like this are wrecking the city, grim how our only option is to shame them out of such rancid behaviour
@skylinermcr That's absolutely revolting. Definitely worth taking to @ManchesterMill or other local press. @guardian even.
It's a masterclass in scum behaviour - making out a new-build consisting of 90% non-affordable student flats is on the side of the angels. Unreal.
