@Schuldensuehner Scholz is a dinosaur - this is such an out of touch comment. Yes rates were high in 1972 before falling to sub 4% in 1975. The idiotic comment doesn’t adjust that wage to house price ratios are materially higher today, significantly increasing rate sensitivity.
