#MLKDay2022
Just kind of left speechless at an invading army whining to the United Nations that the people they are invading — and killing their civilians by the thousands — are fighting back. This is a mystifying level of lack of self awareness
Today, the Lebanese resistance targeted Col. Meir Biderman, commander of the IDF's 401st Armored Brigade, in south Lebanon. Israeli media report that he is fighting for his life.
This is the same brigade that murdered Hind Rajab, stormed Al-Shifa Hospital and terrorised Rafah.
💢 Hezbollah Seriously Wounds Commander of Brigade That Killed Hind Rajab — Highest-Ranking IDF Officer Hit Since October 2023
Colonel Meir Biderman, commander of the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade, was seriously wounded Tuesday after a Hezbollah explosive drone penetrated a fortified building where he was operating between Dibl and Hadatha in south Lebanon, according to reporting from Israeli outlet Maariv cited by journalist Hala Jaber. The drone detonated inside despite protective fortifications, leaving Biderman with serious head injuries. A lieutenant colonel was also wounded.
The 401st Armored Brigade is the same unit whose “Vampire Empire” company is accused in a 120-page ICC complaint of deliberately targeting and killing six-year-old Hind Rajab, six members of her family, and two paramedics in Gaza City in January 2024 — a connection noted by Dyab Abou Jahjah, founder of the Hind Rajab Foundation, who also pointed to the brigade’s role in storming Al-Shifa Hospital and operations in Rafah.
Biderman is reportedly the highest-ranking Israeli officer injured by Hezbollah since October 8, 2023. In March, he declared on Israeli television that Hezbollah had been “severely weakened” and would “pay a heavy price.”
🗞️ NEW: Leaked audio recordings released through the “Hondurasgate”leaks project and reported by Diario Red allegedly expose a covert network involving former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández, Trump-aligned Republicans, and allies of Argentine President Javier Milei discussing plans to fund a U.S.-based disinformation operation targeting the left-wing governments of Mexico, Colombia, and Honduras, according to a report by Spanish outlet El País.
🔹The recordings allegedly capture Hernández requesting funds from current Honduran officials to establish a U.S.-based digital media operation aimed at spreading anti-left narratives and destabilizing regional governments.
🔹In one alleged exchange, Hernández claims Milei pledged $350,000 in support and says “files” were being prepared against the governments of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Colombian President Gustavo Petro.
🔹Another recording, previously reported by Drop Site, allegedly shows Hernández claiming Israeli-linked donors and “a group of rabbis” helped finance his pardon by President Donald Trump after his U.S. narcotrafficking conviction.
🔹Hernández also allegedly claimed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu played a role in securing his release.

⭕️ Israel Escalating Abuse of Palestinian Prisoners in Janot Isolation Wing, Rights Group Says
The Asra Media Office of the Palestinian prisoner rights organization reported Thursday that conditions for detainees in the isolation wing Janot Prison inside Israel’s Nafha and Ramon prison are deteriorating sharply, with untreated skin diseases, denial of basic necessities, and systematic physical abuse by prison suppression units.
Prisoners report widespread scabies infections going untreated, and are being denied clothing and bathing access. Raids by Israeli prison units involve strip searches, forcing detainees face-down on the ground for hours, physical assault, and stun grenades.
Prisoners are then taken outside in handcuffs and left in harsh weather without adequate clothing — part of what the Office described as a deliberate campaign to break detainees physically and psychologically.

⭕️ Israel has committed 2,492 violations of the Gaza ceasefire since October, averaging 13.1 per day, according to a report shared by the Palestinian side with mediators and obtained by Drop Site News
Six incidents were recorded on Saturday alone, including Israeli forces shooting and killing a civilian near tents of displaced persons north of Rafah, intensive gunfire near Beit Lahia, and the explosive demolition of residential buildings in Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.
Since the “ceasefire”, 775 Palestinians have been killed — including 207 children, 86 women, and 21 elderly — and 2,171 wounded, of whom more than half are children, women, or elderly.
Israel also continues to hold approximately 34 square kilometers beyond agreed withdrawal lines and has blocked repairs to electricity, water, and sewage infrastructure.

▪️ Fuel deliveries at just 14.8% of required levels
Rafah Crossing
▪️ Rafah crossing fully closed on the reported day
▪️Only 3,150 of 11,600 planned crossings carried out (~27%)
▪️ Medical and humanitarian travel is effectively blocked
💢 BREAKING | U.S. Navy Fires on Iranian Cargo Ship in Gulf of Oman — Competing Accounts
The U.S. and Iran are offering conflicting accounts of an incident Sunday involving an Iranian vessel in the Gulf of Oman, as the ceasefire teeters on the edge of collapse.
🔹 President Trump said the USS Spruance intercepted the Iranian-flagged cargo ship Touska, nearly 900 feet long, after it attempted to breach the U.S. naval blockade. He said the Iranian crew refused orders to stop, so the Navy “blew a hole in the engine room.” U.S. Marines have taken custody of the vessel, Trump said, adding that the Touska is under U.S. Treasury sanctions for prior illegal activity.
🔹Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported it differently: IRGC Navy rapid reaction forces responded to U.S. forces “opening fire” on an Iranian commercial ship, and said American forces were “forced to retreat and flee the area” following the IRGC response. Iran did not name the commercial vessel.
The incident comes as the two-week ceasefire expires Tuesday and a second round of talks remains unconfirmed. Iran has said it will not negotiate while the naval blockade remains in place. The U.S. has said the blockade will continue regardless.

➤ Khalil Nasser, 62, was shot in the head in a displaced families’ camp in Jabalia while helping others collect water, according to reporting cited by Mosab Abu Toha.

🚨🚨🚨MASSIVE DROP IN DONATIONS 🚨🚨🚨
We need your help NOW: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Across all our campaigns, we are making less than what we need for water alone, which is around $5,700 per day. Since Ramadan, donations to The Sameer Project dropped drastically putting us in a position to reconsider providing less aid.
As you can see, water is a huge issue in Gaza and that is why The Sameer Project prioritizes the water initiative above everything else we do. We work with MSF and UNICEF to provide more water for less money. So for around 450,000 liters of water everyday, we only pay $5,700.
But even this amount, we are not making at the moment. This is a plea, we beg you to donate and plan fundraisers and events to keep injecting money regularly to support Palestinians in Gaza.
