@jimbelosic I’m a plant manager that’s young and hungry and currently manage stainless steel fabrication, injection molding, CNC and assembly operations for an OEM in a niche market. Would love to connect! Do you have an email I can send a resume to? Love what you guys stand for.
@CalebChamberla6 Yeah BLM are the main ones I’ve looked into. League of their own as far as I could tell. Tough to justify for a small OEM. We make do with our cheap chinese NC machine, a man can dream though!
@davidk368430332@TheNumerophile0@ed_dems Sorry you have nothing better to do with your life than worry about the political leanings of the cities in a country/state you don’t live in. Enjoy!
@JDarakd @bstring80 @zanehengsperger You need a broker who works with a ton of different trucking companies so you have options. We ship hot stuff all the time that we request team drivers for, or even box trucks/vans for smaller shipments.
@JDarakd @bstring80 @zanehengsperger Try looking into Worldwide Express (WWEX). They are a broker for UPS but we also run all of our FTL/LTL shipments through them. They are a broker for all of the big trucking companies, XPO, Tforce, SAIA, RL Carriers, etc. You can get rates for all of those companies side by side.
@Matt_Felgate@robbederks@adeebshihadeh@comma_ai@directioncosine They already bought the stencil printer! Jet is definitely cool, didn’t know it could keep up like that. For the comma guys, I would suggest you also get an ultra sonic cleaner that is big enough to fit the stencils in. It helps clean the apertures really well which is important
@robbederks@Matt_Felgate@comma_ai@directioncosine Also just depends on the process reliability you are looking for. If the bga components are sensitive components or have a super small pitch between the balls then it might be worth it. A separate 3D spi will probably run you $100-$150k.
@adeebshihadeh@robbederks@Matt_Felgate@comma_ai@directioncosine We have a stencil printer w/ built in 2d spi as well. 2D is fine to look for bridging/missing paste on pads. 3D is needed to inspect the paste height which is important for BGA’s since once the component is on you can’t inspect it. I would suggest looking into it more…
@Matt_Felgate@comma_ai@directioncosine Stencil printers are faster than jet printers, if you are running thousands of the same board, stencil smokes jet printer on speed. Also stencils are cheap if you are running the same board, only $400-$500 a stencil typically.

@904meech No way that’s true, you definitely joined in during Tank for Trevor and when we were trying to get Doug and Baalke fired. Those last 8 games of that season were actually fun because we were rooting for the 1st overall pick…
