@protosphinx @threejs I experimented with https://t.co/93h406I4zz to build a custom app to visualize STEP models.
That was pre-LLMs/pre-agentic. Would be curious to check out your app.
For serious CAD work BREP is still table stakes but @threejs is invaluable for visualization.

@Solvaix Engagement farming slop. Who’s your source? Who are the engineers? Who are the contractors? Which modeling software? Where’s the attribution? You really think Blender workflow is identical to BIM? What’s the breakdown for the $47k expense?

@BenderDrummer @emm0sh Super useful for surface modeling (which is my main use case). Compares well with Rhino but I really love grasshopper which makes me to partial to Rhino. But when I tried plasticity I remember it was a lot of fun. I’m yet to try subD on plasticity.
