@soldier_destin @DFPRB @defenceforces Exactly. Not everyone is an NS diver or arw. So stop playing make believe. Civilian qualified PADI divers do not make military divers. It requires a specific skillset. Period.

@soldier_destin @DFPRB @defenceforces There is a maritime unit, the NSDS. If DF personnel want to conduct military diving, the join the NSDS. There is a vast difference between scuba and military diving. Would like to see the risk assessment that says it's ok for civilian qualified PADI divers to jump out of a heli.

@BrigidLaffan There is now an opportunity for @IRLCoDF & @joseph_aidan to lay out a roadmap for Ireland to acquire an air intercept capability (maybe not to F35 level). It will allow Ireland to show the rest of the EU that it will contribute to a rules based international order in society.
