Christmas isn’t a great time for everyone.

For a lot of us it will be an opportunity for a break from work and a time to catch up with Mates and Family that we haven’t seen for a while.

This may bring challenges for some people though,who have conflict with loved ones,financial worries or ongoing mental health needs.

For those who have lost loved ones it can be especially hard.

That’s why it’s important that at this time of year particularly when the expectation forced upon us is to be ‘happy and joyful’ that you look after yourself.

Think about the effect drink has on you and if it makes you feel bad try and limit your intake.And if you have a hangover and feel rotten emotionally remember that it is the drink making you feel worse and it will pass.

If you have conflict with relationships try hard to stay as calm as possible and extract yourself from situations in which you may be compromised.And try and avoid drama of any kind.

If you are feeling lonely be careful with social media.Whilst SM is great in order to help you feel connected to others it can also have the effect of exacerbating the isolation and loneliness you feel - especially if you have recently broken up with https://t.co/p3RqNkQzmR try and stay away from it as much as possible.

If you know people who are struggling keep an eye on them.Send them an occasional text and check they are OK.

@Lincs_ACF are back home having ‘ripped’ Warcop. We had an amazing time, our cadets were so well behaved and everyone performed to the highest standards. Nr. 1,000 ACS passes, 72 Star passes and many promotions and prizes awarded.

We had the best time. Our CFAVs smashed it, 👍🙏
