@SagarH62 I might argue that Barry was every bit as great as Sir Viv. Watched him for Hampshire against Sussex at Hove with John Snow bowling down the hill at him, he scored a magnificent hundred. As good as any schoolboy can remember.

@HankHaney His last Open win was 2006. His best finish since was T3 in 2013. His performance over the last 10 years would suggest he’ll do well to make the cut.
His unrivalled knowledge hasn’t made him competitive at an Open for 10 years, why this year I ponder?
