@Lord_Beesus@AntonyGreenElec Good clarification, since it does remove the "stupid" bit.
From the Lib / Nat perspective though I think it's a wise part of the agreement. A three-cornered contest, repeated in many seats every election, would be a media focus and could only harm them
In any case go the Indy ๐
@ryanarey Or just a five minute recap of stuff you'd want to know, including some clips from previous movies and shows. They should just admit, even be proud, of there being a heap of history and lean into it.
Serious movies could have a serious version, funny ones otherwise, etc
@RadioFreeTom Sam should've asked back "what do taxes fund then if not a government agency?"... That kid would've still had some wrong answer for that too but *maybe* some other fool in the audience might've thought "oh yeah, good point".
@georgebernhard@STeplyakov@Memmed0v If you happened to save that reference then it'd be put on the heap, like always
So keep the mental model you have, but the JIT can now be a little more cheeky and stash an instance on the stack without you asking because it knows the lifetime of the instance is just that scope
@georgebernhard@STeplyakov@Memmed0v The mental model isn't hurt. Coming from your perspective, you new'd up a class, so it's a reference. You did nothing with that reference - nothing pointed at it.
So maybe the reference points to a spot on the stack rather than the heap - key bit!!
@sarcasmnaturaly@blowingtom2 I've been done once this way. Was a Jetstar flight.
My bag was a laptop bag which probably weighs 1kg, plus 3kg laptop, power brick, etc. Like a briefcase with wheels. Small.
Had they said at check-in that they'd weigh and if was over, no qualms.
Instead it's a $ ambush at gate
@davidfowl I'd like a walk through of what it's doing one layer down. Show me the commands it's executing on my behalf to stand up the environment. That'll help me understand so I can see what it's replacing, how it can fit in our stack, and also explain to others the "why" with some "how"
@Peter_Fitz Oh wow, we're starting this culture war early this time aren't we?? We haven't even had the war on Xmas yet!
I suspect Poitty is mixing up their legislation and referendum words. Poitty probably forgets the day was different 30ish years ago too
@Terrytoo69 Besides that, you'd just have a credit off the next bill normally. You can pay ahead on electricity. There is no "oh, you paid more, let us pay you back".
100% a scam
@Terrytoo69 Log onto the site yourself by typing in the url of origin into your browser. Don't trust what came via unsolicited email - that includes phone numbers, links, email addresses, or qr codes. Even a solicited email ought to be checked.
If they owe you, their web portal will say so
@EdKrassen To make the other ones look good by comparison... Senate GOP can claim they are holding back Trump by pointing to this one thing for the next 4 years as they waive through all sorts of other clown behaviour
