Friends, I had so much fun recording a podcast with @RichardJanes
I talk about:
How I redefined success for myself
How I maintained my core-self during this pivot
How I embraced the fear of change

I’m uneasy about it too. It’s stressful & scary, but it’s also out of my control, so the best thing I can do is try to focus that attention on the most urgent issues of our time: climate change, good gov, jobs, wages, justice; and highlight the contradictions you explain here.
So the president signed Tim Kaine’s bill into law guaranteeing unpaid workers get backpay when the shutdown ends.
But it’s actually much bigger than that. Kaine’s bill changes the law so that workers will be guaranteed backpay in ALL future shutdowns.
TY for catching this @lexfnx - This is why Apple does not operate in a vacuum and the Chinese not buying their phones flows through to our economy. https://t.co/32YE3JOY8r via @businessinsider
Great article by @pattidomm and a focus. China debt/GDP is 300% - not much room for all kinds of stimulus. They may keep some zombie companies and cities alive for a bit longer but if their real growth rate is 3% then this size stimulus won't do much. https://t.co/i6w0Qyr3xQ
@selectedwisdom Important questions: Will the #SpaceForce Academy football team be D1? Will their mascot be the monolith from 2001,Predator or E.T.? Will their first mission be to save Matt Damon from a random planet? If they win the national championship, will the POTUS buy them Astronaut food?
China is the biggest issue here. This is why more and more fiscal stimulus loses its "fire for effect" because debt/GDP already way too high. On a side note, thank you fiscal conservative frauds more making sure the U.S. is adding to that # as well. @LPNational@libertarianism
The world’s debt pile is hovering near a record at $244 trillion, which is more than three times the size of the global economy https://t.co/4UFNDBV6J2
From Dutch Tulips to the dot-com boom to the housing bubble we see the power of crowd behavior. Non-consensus thinking is one of the most difficult attributes to acquire. But if we are… https://t.co/nH319ohiBR
I look forward to reading the book from @realDonaldTrump campaign insider Chris Christie.
Also, why does Jared Kushner still have a (medium level) security clearance?
Jared lied multiple times on his security clearance forms about his contacts with ... Russian operatives.
No Problem - what is a start-up without a little self-dealing? The fact that they are disclosing this now should remove the overhang and give them at least another $10B in pre-IPO valuation.
Since the government is shutdown, who writes the letter home to these soldiers' parents explaining why they died? Maybe a mandatory year of service at 18, where the kids of the Congresspeople are at risk too, is what this country needs to wake people up. https://t.co/S890UoTpty
Thanks @chrissyfarr for catching this. It is actually a great cross selling plan for $AAPL. Sell people a watch to monitor their heart so when they see the $1,000+ price tag on the phone they know to go to the hospital. https://t.co/u8e8lum30u
TY @BerkeleyJR for this note. $BAC is not $AMZN aren't in the same universe.
$BAC has 10% of U.S. deposits.
$AMZN has 50% U.S. online sales.
$AMZN changed the entire consumer shopping experience.
$BAC almost sent the consumer into a great depression.

So we crush the morale of @uscoastguard by not paying them for the first time ever. They guard our shores from every potential danger. We crushed their morale in order to pay for a needless wall. Think on that.
