I think we need more scientists talking about this GMO issue. There’s so much uninformed conversations going on and it’s concerning to see! One video doesn’t tell the full story but Aproko doctor has started and honestly as a biologist, I don’t see anything wrong in what he said.

@Dan_Ianaise I agree! People are generally scared or wary of what they don’t understand! It seems accessible to us because we’ve lived it in the lab but it makes sense for people to be totally against it because they don’t understand it, and the conspiracy theories travel faster 😂

I have waited patiently for you to drop your own statement so that I can make my own evaluation of the whole thing.
My conclusion after going through this 14 minutes cheap damage control clip is that you are either not as smart a Doctor as we all thought, or you are a willing accomplice in this scheme. Since you failed to dwell on the main points and educate the public, I will help you.

First of all, these seeds are patented, meaning that farmers don't have the right to traditionally replant every year without buying them again from the company. And since they are designed to take over the indigenous breeds, & since their genetic strands will be modified every now and then, with time, farmers won't even have a choice on the matter. This is a subtle venture to take over the agriculture of Africa behind the mask of philanthropy.

Secondly, they are engineered to take over the land exclusively and kpai the indigenous breeds. They also contain herbicides and pesticides that will kill the insects and other small animals in the soil that play a big role in the eco system.

Thirdly, they are associated with many deadly health issues especially in relation to allergenicity and antibiotic resistance.

Someone with a questionable history like Bill Gates is not a person anyone in their right sense should be flexing with. Google his HPV vaccine wahala in India, his tetanus vaccine wahala in Kenya. Heck, this man was the major brain behind the questionable COVID vaccines. Man has been loudly vocal about his project to reduce the world's population every chance he gets. What better place to start than Nigeria, the most populated nation of black people on earth, and Africa's bread basket ??
If these seeds gain prominence in Nigeria, it's a wrap!!! We're finished.

These seeds have been banned in Germany, France, Russia, Italy, Poland, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway, Hungary, Austria, Brazil, Peru, China, India, Japan etc ... for a reason. Ask yourself why even in Africa, the most useless of the continents only Tinubu opened his doors wholeheartedly to these people. I'm so disappointed MI, who is my best artist ever is part of their line up too. Doctor, you have a very big brand and you've been doing so well for yourself. You see this GMO thing? Deactivate asap! This is going to be an eternal mistake if y'all let these guys have their way.

On the other hand, there’s the vaccine conversation. Very absurd arguments especially from a nation who saw first hand how the advancement of science saved lives! You think polio and measles were created in the lab too? You think you’d have escaped it w/o the “man-made vaccines”?

The GMO conversation is particularly infuriating because the people peddling misinformation about GMOs also believe:

1) Vaccines have 5G/will kill you.
2) IMF is behind their country's economic failure.
3) Bill Gates is the anti-christ.
