@superTekka This is what I’ve been trying to explain to people. Fluid midfielders are in vogue now. Shin kickers aren’t sufficient as starting DM’s unless they also have passing/controlling ability. Also ability in the final third.

@_Utdbaki Tonali seems to make the obvious pass most of the time. While accurate, it’s also easy for the opposition to press the receiver because that’s the pass they are expecting. Vision + decision making + passing is what we need. Not just passing. He’s good but not “marquee” good imo
