@bronzeagemantis There’s never been a “broad popular consensus to accept immigrants”. Since 1990 the % of Swedes saying that it’s a good idea to accept fewer refugees has fluctuated between 40-61 %. There’s been an elite consensus which seemed like a public consensus because of media gatekeepers.

@pegobry_en When you say football is loosing popularity are you referring to the national team or Ligue 1? Because the national team seems to be doing fine (the 1998 numbers are probably extra high due to the hype of being the host).
