🚨 BREAKING: A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the final forfeiture of 48 out of 57 properties valued at about ₦212 billion linked to former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

Justice Joyce Abdulmalik granted the EFCC's application, dismissing objections filed by Malami, members of his family, and several companies claiming ownership of the assets.

The judge ruled that the key issue was not who owns the properties, but whether the funds used to acquire them were legitimately obtained.

The affected assets include luxury hotels, duplexes, plazas, warehouses, shopping complexes, schools, a university, factories, residential estates, and other high-value properties spread across Abuja, Kebbi, Kano, and Kaduna States.

The court's decision means 48 of the 57 properties will now be forfeited to the Federal Government, while the remaining assets are subject to separate legal determinations.
