Its not guess work, there are literal lists published with leagues ranked on quality, La Liga 2 is about 12-13 places higher up the rankings than the SPL, sure Rangers and Celtic are better than most of the teams, but the level of competition ie: Hibs, Dundee utd etc are nowhere near, surely you can't believe that teams like Granada, Gijon, Girona, Almeria etc who have all be in the Spanish top flight in recent years, are worse than St Mirren? Girona were in the Champions League two years ago ffs 😂

Being 100% honest I actually watched quite a few mate, I enjoy Serie A and watch it most weekends... i'm not arguing you on thr creativity thing, i'm saying we need creativity and I think we'll sign players who offer it, including the 2 guys who are reportedly a done deal, but if Raskin goes we wont just have a creativity problem, we'll have a bunch of bang average CMs and barely a leader between them

I think thats the plan though anyway isn't it? Kelsy & Minsu are set to sign, rumours of another winger being floated around... my worry is with Raskin and Barron heading out the door we have numbers but a severe lack of quality in the centre, I reckon Ferguson improves us massively in that area...at the end of the day it all comes down to what we can afford to spend, if we sell some players and Ferguson is a viable option without sacrificing creative additions, then i'm all in

Ferguson isnt limoted to the defensive misfieldwr role though, he can go box to box and is a massive upgrade on what will be left after Raskin leaves, he also has a good relationship with the manager and would give everything for the club, theres more upsides than downsides for me
