As always, @EmmanuelMacron and I are closely coordinating our positions. We had a productive meeting and discussed priorities ahead of the meetings of the Anti-Ballistic Coalition and the Coalition of the Willing, as well as our bilateral cooperation.
Relations between our countries have reached a truly strategic level, due in large part to President Macron’s personal efforts. Today, I thanked Emmanuel for his assistance and support throughout these years and awarded the Order of Freedom to the President, a true friend of Ukraine.
We spoke in detail about the situation on the front and Ukraine’s needs in protecting people from Russian attacks. It is important to strengthen Ukraine, reinforce our air defenses, and accelerate the development of Europe’s anti-ballistic capabilities. France has precisely the capabilities and advanced technologies needed to help. We will work on this together with our allies. Thank you, France. Thank you, Emmanuel!

Kherson today. The same hell.
russia is leveling residential neighborhoods with 3-ton guided aerial bombs.
The world needs to stop pretending this isn't terrorism.
Kentucky Republicans have tried to take away Governor Beshear’s ability to appoint Mitch McConnell’s replacement. Beshear says he’s considering ignoring the state legislature and appointing a Democrat to replace McConnell anyway.
He believes the law is unconstitutional, that Kentucky’s constitution gives him the authority, and that he’s prepared to test the GOP on it.
This is exactly how Democrats should be fighting.
Marco Rubio (June 23): "No country is allowed to charge tolls or fees on an international waterway"

Do you see the pattern yet?
Across the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, invading russian forces abduct, torture, and imprison Ukrainians. Even seniors.
Ivan Chornyi is one of their victims. The 71-year-old is charged with allegedly making 27 donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine totalling 4,100 hryvnia, approximately $100 USD.
His family, and the families of his fellow victims, also seniors, are working to have their loved ones released from russian penal colonies and returned to Ukraine.
“At the heart of the operation in Tokyo is a secretive Russian military intelligence unit known as the 20th Directorate, whose role has never been publicly disclosed. Posing as diplomats or businesspeople, its officers work to buy or steal battlefield technology and smuggle it into Russia, according to current and former officials at five Western intelligence agencies.
The man overseeing the 20th Directorate’s operation in Tokyo maintains a cover identity as an employee of the Russian state airline Aeroflot, according to current officials from four of those intelligence agencies. He plays a crucial role in supplying Russia’s war machine…
Mr. Filchenkov began developing relationships with logistics companies that ship goods from Japan to Russia, according to business records and interviews. Western officials have warned Japan that relationships like these help G.R.U. officers buy sensitive technology under false pretenses and send it to Russia, sometimes using bogus shipping records.”

💬 During today’s meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stressed that there are no grounds for Russia’s return to international sport.
The Minister called on the EU and its member states to take a clear position against any easing of Russia’s isolation within international sports organisations.

In Paris for the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing.
Ukraine has built strong military momentum. The tide is turning.
The EU is fully playing its part with our €90 billion Loan.
Today, we will also discuss how to protect Ukraine's skies from Russian drones and ballistic missiles.
We can and will do more.
I agree with this. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but Lindsay Graham was the leading driver of the devastating sanctions bill against Russia. Yesterday, he announced that president Trump agreed to it. He had just returned from Ukraine where it’s not unknown for Russian agents to operate. Russians are expert at administration of poisons that look like heart attacks. All tests should be done immediately to rule out foul play. I’ve seen enough Russian related suspicious deaths to know this is the only course of action
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was murdered by ICE.
His three sons called him “El mundo entero” — the whole world. They watched as their whole world died in a video posted on Facebook.
Lorenzo was our neighbor and fellow Texan. He deserves justice.
Yesterday, using multiple one-way attack surface drones, CENTCOM forces successfully struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran. Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations. Last night’s strikes degraded Iran’s ability to continue attacking commercial shipping.
President Trump announces that the blockade of Iran has resumed.
The US will also now charge a major 20% toll to any vessels crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
15 vessels of Russia's shadow fleet struck overnight, including tankers, dry cargo, a ferry, tugs.

We’re sanctioning Russia at speed and scale.
Today’s measures, together with the upcoming 21st sanctions package, will add 250 individuals and entities to the Russia sanctions regime.
This is our biggest round of individual designations since Moscow’s 2022 full-scale invasion, and includes also the EU’s largest-ever cyber sanctions package.
The financial backbone of Russia’s war machine is the main target. Every measure weakens Moscow’s ability to wage war.
