@CharCharYYC @IyanVelji @JyotiGondek Calgary even had sections in storage for a swift fix, the danage was just that bad. That would be the fault of whoever is in charge of monitoring the pipe, or the fault of bosses up the chain for covering it up (up to and potentially inc. city council members)

Your anger has the wrong reasons - It apparently could have been updated sooner but Council was worried about short term minor anger and kept delaying it til catastrophic failure

So, definitely incompetence involved since it JUST had maintainence work

@ReptileStare @calgarysun Still very unlikely to be sabotage. Much more likely that politicians were padding wallets by say taking lobbying money and building a new stadium instead of maintaining infrastructure
