.....I don't watch AAA beyond some of the big shows, but you don't even really need to follow that closely to understand why Kaiser's version of the character was the face and why Gable's was the heel in Mexico....

Kaiser was considered the babyface because he took the gimmick and embraced the Mexican culture as his own. He called them his people. He never acted like an outsider coming in to take over Mexican wrestling. He came in to be accepted by the Mexican people

Chad Gable, by his own admission, only came to AAA to take it apart. He didn’t care about the Mexican culture or embracing it as his own.

That’s why Kaiser was considered the babyface
