An Aussie gamer of old! From the Atari 7800 through the Nintendo 90s era and followed Rareware onto the Xbox. Love all platforms, gaming news, media & podcasts!
@THEMAGGSHOW Nice one Magg, I hope you're right. worked for Ubisoft & when I first saw they introduced dismemberment in AC: Valhalla in a special preview, I knew this was the missing piece for AC games. The original had the blood so here's hoping its there with potentially dismemberment
@UbisoftANZ That game looks amazing however I did not see 1 drop of blood in assassinations and combat in the reveal footage. Is this removed completely?
@David_Wise@Kev_Bayliss Christmas of 1997 and I was an excited 11 year old when I unwrapped Diddy Kong Racing! I can't think of a more innovative racer that spliced an open world hub adventure packed with secrets and region changing music. I'm 40 now and I still have the music and jingles in my head.
@AdvGiada@PlaytonicGames I'm actually playing this game for the first time and absolutely loving it. It's such an new and yet familiar joy. Nothing but smiles. Thank you Playtonic.
Just 100% Donkey Kong Bananza! For a game I didn’t initially think I’d buy it exceeded all expectations! Game Of The Year material for sure! Now to listen to the soundtrack on repeat 💛🍌
Rareware stole my heart in the '90s—gorgeous visuals, iconic tunes, lovable characters. I followed their IPs to Xbox in the 6th gen... and then waited. And waited. Still chasing that flame that once made me smile, a glow now that falters but refuses to fade.
I raced on the Mario Circuit in Mario Kart World about 300 times to get the 500+ Races sticker. 1:07.829 was the best I managed to do which I'm quite happy with. The world record is still 3.6 seconds faster though! It's impressive how good people are at this game!
Happy anniversary to using the highly fair and balanced FarSight to shoot your friends through walls while being protected by a wall-mounted laptop sentry gun. Here's to 25 years since the original launch of Perfect Dark!
