Church members aren’t looking for super-pastors, they want basic pastoral competence, honesty and leadership. That’s what they ought to expect. https://t.co/2Y6xz9yvWp
Spending time with good friends celebrating the Inauguration of President Trump. Greg Laurie, Robert Jeffress, and Mike Huckabee who will be the US Ambassador to Israel are brothers in Christ and dear friends through the years. All of us love America and will do everything we can to help our president be successful. It’s a new day for our nation and we are filled with hope in our God.
@JustinPetersMin — trust me, Trump has heard the real gospel — I know solid people who have shared it with him.
We can’t assume that we know what’s going on in the inside. Maybe Paula is listening to people like Graham and Jeffrey’s and is hopefully growing … why always err on the side of judgement (especially when we aren’t on the inside and don’t know what’s going on).
Confrontation must come from gentleness and genuine concern—the cry of the confrontation must be birthed in the labor room of brokenness. We have no business convicting without loving; preaching without weeping.
So many Christians are defending the truth, but wounding fellow soldiers on the battlefield. I’m alarmed at the arrogance I see as brother shoots brother. They claim they are defending the truth, but they’re actually strengthening the enemy by their arrogance.
Please don’t misunderstand: I’m all for defending the truth and contending for righteousness, but it must come from a humble, loving messenger. Both a thief and a surgeon use a knife—one to harm, the other to help. We must heal the body of Christ, not amputate it!

A quiet time is not a prayer meeting involving all the members of your household.
A quiet time is not another church service or fellowship meeting. It is an intimate time between you and your God. It is a private moment that you must cherish.
Richard Dawkins (2008): “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and get on with your life.”
Richard Dawkins (2024): “There’s probably no God. But if there is a God, I sure hope it’s the Christian one.”
