@qatarairways The flight was cancelled around 2-3 days before departure, first on the app. I received the email at least a day later. The refund was all minus around 150 euros. I didn't have to contact customer service. My new flight ticket cost about 3 times more. No insurance helped.
@BungAndi1X@qatarairways Did they send you automatically a cancellation email + refund? Or are there things to do to get refunded on a cancelled flight?
@qatarairways Do you offer free rebooking on an alternative route if flights through Doha are disrupted?
For ex, could the trip be rerouted through another hub (Egypt?) instead of Qatar?
Or do we need to request a refund and book a new ticket which usually multiplies the original price by 3?
