@RichardGrenell Wait....Canada’s primary longstanding obligation under the NATO framework is the 2% of GDP guideline (now met according to recent NATO figures), with the alliance having raised the bar to a 5% target by 2035.

@Justhstop @BigJohnB45 @jmbprime Their is no other source to replace Bitumen and WCS heavy oil of that magnitude ( US imports approx 4 million bbls/d from Canada) VZ is a mere half million a day that the US imports while Canada is 8x that figure. Crude Quality matters.

@Michael7ucci Only that is not true crude quality matters. WCS and Bitumen Heavy oil can't be replaced. VZ is a mere 500,000 day imports into US while Canada at approx 4 million US imports is 8X that figure. Where will HO come from as that is the slate the US needs.

@DropSiteNews No proof or evidence accompanies the US claims. These tankers are huge they are not invisible even with transponders off. Satellite, radar and other electronic emission detection would reveal numbers through.
