Here's why I built IdahoOne:
Over the last few years, I've had the pleasure of getting to know most of the independent, Conservative journalists and writers who cover Idaho politics, culture, etc.
I'm a nobody. I'm also an Idahoan who cares deeply about what our state will look like next year, in ten years, fifty years, etc. I've chosen to raise my children here. I do business here.
It has become apparent over the last several years that Idaho is not the bastion of conservatism that many thought it was. An "R" next to one's name guarantees nothing.
Independent, liberty-minded and relentlessly conservative media then is crucial. The Statesman, the Capital Sun and others do not meet that criteria. We need like-minded eyes and ears watching our Legislative sessions, watching our Executive and Judicial branches and reporting their findings back to us.
Fortunately, we have gifted and spirited journalists, writers and contributors who do just that -- under many banners and from all parts of the state.
My goal for IdahoOne was to aggregate these articles and observations in one place (via the website) and then post each article to X within minutes of publication. My hope was to get this information to a larger audience and drive more traffic to these very deserving news sites.
IdahoOne is a totally free platform. It contains no ads, and it makes no money. I personally cover its expenses. We also do not host or post full articles on the site or on X. Every "post" you see takes you directly to the original author. This is by design and will not change.
Here's where I need your help:
1) Share these articles (either the IdahoOne link or the original source link) with your neighbors, parents, kids, church friends, etc. Idahoans MUST be watching this upcoming Legislative session. We must hold our lawmakers accountable. When they stray from the values they ran on, the values of the Party they've committed to uphold, we must speak out. But having this information at our fingertips is Step 1.
2) Support independent, conservative journalists and websites. I subscribe monthly to most. For the cost of a coffee or weird soda-drink, you can help yourself be informed about what's really happening in Idaho.
Thank you.

* Adding Legislator blogs to our site and feed was a great suggestion and a feature I added earlier this year. Hopefully more Legislators regularly write in 2026!
If you know a Legislator that should be added to our feed, tag them below!

Amazing. One year ago we were trying to hit 1,000 followers. Today we're on the verge of hitting 2,000 followers.
For an idea I had one weekend a few years ago (organize and reduce friction between truly conservative, Idaho-based news sources and their readers), I am truly impressed with your support. Thank you!

This is why I'm running. On November 4th, I received the most votes in Idaho Falls' mayoral race, but didn't reach 50%, so we're headed to a runoff election on December 2nd. Since then, everything changed.
Outside interests are now spending massive money to manipulate local voters with lies.
Here's the complete story about the $63,000 "dark money" campaign trying to influence Idaho Falls voters. Dark money refers to political spending where the original donors are hidden or difficult to trace. It flows through multiple organizations to obscure who's really behind it.
This is my full response to the lies, the coordination, and the out-of-state influence flooding our mayor's race. Idaho Falls needs to hear this before December 2nd.
