Life is such a funny thing.
You kidnapped a medical doctor and his brother.
Demanded for 100M naira, killed the younger brother in the process and released the doctor after a ransom of millions of naira was paid.
Now your own child is sick, you rushed her to the hospital and guess who attended to the child?
The same doctor you kidnapped and almost killed.
To everyone who prayed and contributed for the safe release of Dr Abu Tunde, the HO who was kidnapped in Auchi, God bless you all, his abductors have been arrested at the hospital where he was met to attend to their own child.
Rafael Leão’s father, Frank Leão, has released a song dedicated to Cristiano Ronaldo on his birthday. 😂
And to be fair to him, it’s an absolute banger. 🕺🎵
Song title — CR7, O Único. 🔝
This is how a Yahoo boy catfishing as a Dubai Prince was tracked to his house in Nigeria, his everyday moves, meeting Davido and all. He scammed a woman of $2.5m and started living large.

THE INCREDIBLE RESEMBLANCE BETWEEN CRISTIANO RONALDO AND HIS LATE FATHER. 👀🇵🇹
This family video is circulating, with José Dinis Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo's dad holding CR7 as a baby and the resemblance is striking.
🏠🕊 This week has felt heavier than most, like the air itself is carrying grief we can't quite shake off.❤🕊
First, we lost Lazywrita. Someone who made thousands laugh on this same app, who turned everyday struggles into relatable jokes, quietly posted that he had no strength left to continue the journey. And just like that, he was gone. I didn't know him personally, but his content popped up on my TL often enough that it felt like I did. The silence after that last post... it's loud. It reminds you that the funniest people sometimes carry the deepest pain, and we scroll past their cries disguised as memes.
Then Aunt Esther. Beautiful woman, fighter till the end. Breast cancer took her this week after years of battling. Watching cancer steal someone piece by piece is its own kind of slow suicide for the person and everyone who loves them. You feel helpless, counting days, praying for miracles that sometimes don't come.
And today, Anthony Joshua's accident. Thank God he walked away with minor injuries, but two of his friends didn't make it. Just gone. On that same Lagos-Ibadan road we've all cursed a thousand times. Most lives erased because our roads are death traps, because infrastructure is treated like an afterthought. AJ is a global champion, but even champions can't fight potholes and neglect.
Those two friends were somebody's Lazywrita, somebody's Aunt Esther. They had jokes, dreams, people waiting for their calls.
What ties all this together is how fragile it all feels. One moment you're here, posting, laughing, planning Christmas with family, driving home, the next, you're a hashtag, a memory, a "RIP" thread.
Life doesn't come with warnings. It doesn't send a DM saying "today might be heavy, prepare yourself." One person chooses to leave because the pain becomes unbearable. Another fights cancer with everything but still loses. Others are taken suddenly by roads we all know are dangerous but still drive on every day.
So if you're reading this and you're tired, if the journey feels too long, too dark, please talk to someone. Not because it's weak to ask for help, but because it's brave. Because people like Lazywrita deserved more time. Because Aunt Esther fought like hell and inspired everyone around her. Because those two friends in AJ's car had whole futures ahead.
Check on your funny friend. Call that auntie you've been meaning to call. Drive carefully on these wicked roads. Hug your people a little tighter.
We're all just walking each other home, you know? Some of us get there sooner than others. Make sure the ones still walking know they're not alone.
Rest in peace Lazywrita. Rest in peace Aunt Esther. Rest in peace to AJ's friends whose names we should learn and say out loud.
And for the rest of us still here, let's be kinder to ourselves and each other. The journey is hard, but we're in it together. 🖤
