Onah Chinedu Christian, a father & a husband, had been diagnosed of Lung cancer for some months now.

His condition is being managed & treated at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
He was on admission for 2 months where fluid was being drained out of his right lung 🫁 with a chest tube, which was said to have collapsed due to the level of malignancy.

.
As a result, his right hand had been permanently down, in severe pain & he is usually being aided to walk & move around. He was literally carried into church the previous night.
He came to the healing & deliverance service yesterday in that condition, being driven down to the Glory Dome from Calabar by a hired driver & accompanied by his wife. They were desperate for a miracle & didn’t intent to go back the same way they came.

God's love keeps us going

Took off my cap today because it’s one of those days when I feel so much less of a hero the world sees but more human-vulnerable and deeply flawed on many levels.
I’ve felt deep anxiety about a lot of things lately, as I’ve been traveling a lot and it continually feels like I’m in a constant race against time and trying too hard to make the most of the opportunities and blessings God keeps sending my way even when I feel so unprepared for it- oh the quiet scandal of grace.
But I came across a bible verse today which was such a beautiful and timely reminder that if he dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor, how much more will he clothe you?
If he watched over every sparow how much more does he love us?

Such deep reassurance of how God’s love surrounds us even when our thoughts wage war.

Regardless what lies ahead, we are promised the nearness of God to help us face our fears and get through our hurt. And when uncertainty keeps us anxious, we are anchored in the one thing that is certain- God’s love

I feel a lot less burdened now and can continue to walk through the chaos whilst resting in his stillness because I am a man after God’s own heart and he will take care of me through all of my highs and lows with the abundant love and delicate care with which he adorns the lilies and sparrows.

When I wanted to travel to Canada I left sooooo many things behind

My clothes, shoes, bags and all

My reasons for leaving these things behind were many

-The airport had stringent luggage and weight restrictions.

-Also because many of the clothes I was using in Nigeria had no place in Canada

They were not for that weather or that terrain at all

Were these things I was leaving behind bad?

Absolutely not!!!!

But because of my journey, I couldn’t carry them

Underline (BECAUSE OF MY JOURNEY)

Some of them I was really sad about
Like I couldn’t believe I had to leave them
Personal belongings I was emotionally attached to
Some of my things were new and I had barely worn them

But the Journey to go be with my husband was more important

Like the things I was leaving behind seemed like they were important untill I put them on a scale side by side starting a new family with my husband.

Then I saw that they were not that important after all

So I left them and I didn’t look back

Dear believer

We are on a journey to heaven

When you close your eyes in death, life does not end here.

And so if a journey here on earth requires you leaving certain things behind how much more heaven????

There are friends you have to leave behind
It’s not because they are bad but they may restrict you

There are lifestyles, types or clothes and adornments you may need to forgo and you may not carry on your journey

There are things you like as a person but maybe they don’t really portray the Christian life of modesty and moderation

You may need to open your hands and release them to go

Because you’ll come to discover that there’s nothing more important than your soul and your eternal destiny

God’s grace and mercies have brought you so far

This is not time to back out

This is time to remember where you’re headed and keep your eyes on that crown

Remember the road you’re traveling is narrow, it can’t accommodate everything!

God’s Grace is ever sufficient

I nearly missed my flight to Abuja

I had a 6:30 flight back to Abuja and I entered one Lagos hold up

When I got to the airport by 6:10, the attendant told me I could not enter and that the boarding gate was closed already

I just stood there disappointed and confused on what next to do

I met other fellow late comers there too.

I went close to the boarding atrnedaand said

“Sir please I have checked in online already”

The man looked at me and said “did you check in online before today???

I said “yes sir”

He said “that is the only reason why only you can get on this plane”

The He checked and saw that it was true, opened the gate and let me in

Before I went in, this other lady came and was begging too

The man asked her “did you check in online”??

She said no

The man said something profound

He said “this not a matter of begging. It’s not because I’m wicked.The check in portal closes 30 minutes before departure. This is a matter of principle and so I can’t check you in now”

As I walked into the plane, the man’s words kept ringing in my ears as the Holyspirit brought to my remembrance about the kingdom of heaven

There’s a principle that only those who in this life have Jesus as Lord and Savior and lived a lived to please God here on earth would be allowed in

Your excuses don’t matter

Your plenty tears won’t matter

If an airline here on earth would have such stringent rules, how much more the God of heaven that already paid the price so that you can enter heaven

And so I ask you today

Are you checked in to the kingdom of God?

Who is Lord over your life ?

Do you live your life for yourself or according to the word of God??

Think deeply!
