Until death, all defeat is psychological.
I heard this somewhere a few weeks ago and haven’t forgotten it. No matter how much money you “lose,” no matter how much time or energy or willpower or motivation you lose…
You’re still in the fight until it’s over.
I think the main issue is addressing is you prescribing that drug to a "random" person online. In CP, there are peculiar cases that may require you prescribing a particular drug. However, it doesn't make the drug a fit for every patient. No two patients are the same.
Thing is, until you own your own premise, you can't make certain rules. Even if it's true.
If you convince them not to buy it, they will go elsewhere and buy it.
Your boss (who is also a pharmacist btw) finds out, and it becomes a problem because his drugs won't sell themselves.
You see where I'm driving at?
Someone swore to me once that if she doesn't take dynewell, she feels sick and emaciated. The ridiculousness of the statement stunned me for a second and there was no changing her mind otherwise.
So look, we can only do our best. But even in the hospitals, doctors keep writing amatem soft gel plus ciprotab without confirming typhoid.
Patients come with the prescription and all hell will let loose if you try to change their minds on "what my doctor wrote."
So let's be realistic, there is only so much we can do.
@orxsco@lekinscazal You don't know how long she's been having the sore throat or maybe she has been on some medications to no avail. So, except we get a full context of the situation, I don't think the pharmacist did too much.
Ofc, she will, probably, not give you the full details here.
@orxsco@lekinscazal That's you assuming it's "ordinary sore throat." The Pharm must have asked other questions before deciding on that. He could have gone for a cheaper brand, agreed. But unless you understand the whole context, you can't be certain the pharmacist is doing too much.
I actually really love writers. I mean, I love words but I love writers even more cos how do you piece words together so beautifully and make me feel every emotion? brilliant! I love it. so much.
I might be reaching, but I will say it
These recent complaints about the money gifted to the Super Falcons are low-key rooted in misogyny. If the same money were gifted to the Super Eagles, we wouldn’t be hearing all these complaints.
“some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money.
They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with.
Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
GOD DESIRES YOUR PROSPERITY — IT GIVES HIM JOY!
It brings God joy to see you excel. The Scripture declares “I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
Sometimes, in our effort to warn against carnality and the vain pursuit of material things, we preachers unintentionally swing too far to the other side. In trying to strike a balance, we create a subtle message that makes people feel guilty for desiring more, the “more” that’s found in God. But hear me clearly: God is a good God and it is His will to prosper you. Say it boldly: I believe!
It is God's will to heal you and make you whole. It is God’s will for you to keep rising—step by step, glory to glory, just like Proverbs 4:18 says: “The path of the just is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.”
It is God's desire to deliver you from every evil attack, from enchantments, yokes, curses, and all forms of satanic interference. When you are convinced that something is the will of God, you can release your faith boldly, without fear. God wants you to prosper, God wants you whole. God wants you free. Say it with faith: I believe!
