The people are tired of being told what’s not possible.
In the wealthiest country in the world, nobody should ever have to go into debt to receive healthcare.
🚨We are deeply alarmed by the reports that there is an imminent threat to Dr. #HussamAbuSafiya’s life as a result of torture and other ill treatment he has been suffering while in Israeli custody. Israeli authorities must immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Abu Safiya. Pending his release, we call on the Israeli Prison service to ensure he is fully protected from abuse, granted urgent adequate medical care and allowed immediate visitation by independent monitors.

In one of several campaign-style mailers @RepAuchincloss's office sent out during the holiday weekend, @WhipKClark dutifully revises history on Auchincloss's record on Medicare drug price negotiation. During his first term, Auchincloss co-authored a letter to then-Speaker Pelosi parroting pharma lobby talking points in an effort to derail the passage of H.R. 3, which would have empowered Medicare to negotiate drug prices.

I'm assuming Platner's campaign has some sort of Field Director or Campaign Manager or surrogate who can take his place if he needs to drop out.
Janet Mills absolutely cannot be the nominee. It needs to be a working class progressive to win in Maine.
Democrats thought tying Abdul El-Sayed to pro-Palestinian streamer Hasan Piker would derail his insurgent campaign in Michigan, but it backfired. Now, the race has become a key battle in the fight between the party establishment and progressive left. https://t.co/uEhmkioI6O
I could give you all the amendments he passed, the big VA bill, the huge funding for community health centers in the ACA, but I’ll just go with a bigger indisputable example here:
he moved the entire trajectory of American politics toward anti-oligarchy
Ben-Gvir has reportedly canceled his trip to New York amid mounting legal pressure and calls for accountability. We’ve sent a clear message: war criminals can no longer assume they can travel freely without facing repercussions.
But movement demands remain unchanged. @NewYorkStateAG must still meet with victims and investigate the allegations so our state is prepared to act if Ben-Gvir or others visit our state.
Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to visit Washington DC next week and New York in September. He can expect to be met by people demanding justice every step of the way. The era of impunity is over.
