“When was your last period?” is actually a very relevant medical question. A broken arm may need an X-ray, and pregnancy status matters because of fetal radiation exposure. It also matters when choosing medications, because some drugs are contraindicated in pregnancy. There’s a reason we ask bathong 😭 Let us do our jobs!
Dear Alex @winexviv,
Hearty congratulations to all outstanding Nigerian champions who recorded wins in Mathematics and Science as well as you and the entire Educare family at the 2026 Olympiad! This is exactly the kind of excellence Nigeria needs. The laurels achieved by our children are proofs that when we invest in our young minds, they rise to meet the world.
You are building something that truly matters. Keep raising these champions; the nation is watching, and it is proud.
With deep admiration,

We need to bring back intellectual elitism. Sorry, but a virologist will always know more about vaccines than a yoga mommy blogger with a ChatGPT Plus subscription.
They blame systemic issues on the HCWs.
1. They hate the doctor because they spend a long time before being seen in a public hospital. Forgetting it’s one doctor alone seeing over 40 patients.
2. They hate the nurse because she’s not by their bedside to feed and change diapers every time. Forgetting she’s the only one nursing over 25 patients.
3. They hate that HCWs don’t run like it’s portrayed in movies. Forgetting the HCW here is overworked and underpaid unlike the ones in movies.
4. They hate that the HCWs send them to buy other things and do some tests outside. Forgetting that it’s not even the HCWs duty to keep those things in the hospital.
This has happened to HOs, Regs, MOs.
Many people kept quiet.
If they go beyond this and if we let Profs case go without retribution, then we have finally buried the last respect of the profession and the hospital.
“What happens to other patients who have spent millions on admission?”
This is emotional blackmail.
A doctor was assaulted, and somehow the focus has shifted from the violence (which has been normalized) to making doctors feel guilty for reacting.
Mind you, reports said he was operating on a patient in theatre when the incident happened…I wonder what happened to that patient.
They literally fired shots and sprayed tear gas too.
But it’s still the doctor that should be thinking about the patients on admission?
I said what I said.
Shut down the hospital.
consume sugar filled cerelac as a baby.
eat noodles with sodium and drink fanta and coke with dye through out your 20s.
top it up with substandard "milk".
eat beans that is presevered with chemicals.
eat jollof rice made with sugar and chemical called "tomato paste".

Here’s what sweeter than matching:
Matching into the same specialty with your best friend.
20 years spent nurturing the same dream.
If 9 year old Kachi (@cantis96) and Nedu could see us right now🥹
You win when everyone around you wins❤️
