This past weekend we hosted the #iGEM Shanghai Regional Conference @nyushanghai. Some 170 iGEMers from 20 teams gathered together to share their research, participate in workshops and learn about @AfteriGEM opportunities. Thank you to all who attended!
Today we stand in solidarity of #Strike4BlackLives. We pledge to continue our ongoing discussions at iGEM HQ on how to best support the Black Lives Matter movement, and what actions we can take to address racism in STEM, academia, and in society #ShutdownSTEM#ShutdownAcademia

#MeetTheTeam: Jenny is a neuroscience major from NYC. iGEM has been an opportunity for her to apply what she learns in the classroom to tackle real-world problems. Fun fact about Jenny: she inserts herself in front of a karaoke mic whenever she gets the chance. ๐ค๐ถ
