After closing the olympic cycle with Paris 24, we started working for the olympics of LA28.
The first step will be the Asian Indoor Games to be held in thailand at the end of november.
After the celebration of the Olympics in Paris we start with the preparation of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.
We will be working hard to create a sporting structure that will allow Iraq to achieve new achievements in upcoming events.

This week we had a meeting with the different federations to prepare the West Asian Games 2025.
I am very happy that NOCI has entrusted me to lead this project together with the Secretary General. We will work hard to get the approval of the Olympic Council of Asia.
The West Asia Youth Basketball Championship starts today in Baghdad
The Iraqi capital is set to host the West Asian Youth Basketball Championship for U-18s with six national teams taking part: Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine and Yemen.
