Nick Saban: "We need to come up with a system... to allow student athletes in all sports, including women's and olympic sports, to enhance their quality of life, while going to college — but still provide opportunity to advance themselves beyond their athletic career."
"I'm sure you've had enough time to think about it Coach Saban...
While you were getting your makeup done and your eyebrows trimmed 😂😂
I was using your philosophy" ~ @coach_cristobal#CollegeGameDay
@Lane_Kiffin on @TheoVon is a great episode. That being said, I’d love to know what the “Group Message” has to say about the Clap vs Time Out. #FlyOnTheWall

WHAT TO DO IN AN ACTIVE SHOOTER SITUATION: Run, Hide, Fight.
While it takes everyday heroes willing to step up and stop a threat, those who are unable should do this:
RUN (Primary Option)
- Get OFF the X
- Leave belongings behind
- Help others escape
- Keep your hands visible when law enforcement arrives
HIDE (If Running Isn't Possible)
- Lock and barricade doors
- Turn off lights & silence your phone
- Stay away from doors and windows
- Hide behind hardened objects (concrete walls, large trees, cars)
- Remain absolutely quiet
- Prepare to fight if discovered
FIGHT (The Last Resort)
- Commit fully to your actions
- Act aggressively and throw objects
- Improvise weapons from available items
- Target vulnerable areas (eyes, throat, groin)
- Work as a team
If you encounter an active shooter situation or terrorist attack remember to Run, Hide, Fight!
Hitters….free advice coming. The most important part of ur body, while hitting, are your eyes! If u keep ur eyes as still as possible, ur chances of correct pitch recognition, go way up. How do we do that? Ur base!!! As solid as possible. If u limit lower body movement, eyes won’t move as much. Lotta lower body movement, more chance of eyes bouncing. Also, and this ties in with the eyes…..best piece of advice I ever got was from Willie Stargell….he said ‘fast feet promote slow hands, slow feet promote quick hands’. Slow feet in the stride, promote minimal eye movement and quick hands. Boom….let it eat!!!
