@supportthegoals Agriculture in the rural areas does best to promote SDG1 and SDG2. In the rural areas, target the community's traditional crops or activities. They would enjoy doing it.
As we celebrate the International rural women day, we celebrate the backbone of a home. Her house errands plus small income generating activities, keep her family going. Supporting her will be supporting the the entire world.
The global movement for women’s rights must not leave #ruralwomen behind.
On 15 October, International Day of Rural Women, join us in supporting ALL women in claiming their rights!
Women in the rural areas would do best with their traditional activity. Ie, in my area, agriculture would do well. In some arid areas, the community specialises in knitting baskets, some areas curvings to create income and be self sufficient.

@GlobalGoalsUN I am looking forward to participate with Max Bergman, chair of the 8th World Sustainability Forum @MDPISustFound to be held from 14.-19. September 2020 @CICG_Geneva#Geneva.
@UN_Women The little we do to empower women and just give them hope for the future makes a difference. Hope from the small village, to the big cities and reap just a smile is just more than enough. I am proud to hold a woman's hand and to give hope.
Control over economic resources provides women with greater bargaining power within the household and the capacity for financial independence.
Let them work and be part of the sustainable economic growth! https://t.co/qDPh1plfRk #PromisesToAction#GlobalGoals
Online volunteering is the best way towards development. Results are encouraging. Sometimes Volunteers link up with organizations on the ground to adapt new technology to achieve SDG's. Unfortunately most of them are not trustworthy. How can UNV assist? https://t.co/yF5WEeItjB
