@jasonjamesbnn I'm not sure this story is true as it conveniently hits every point why we need a change and desperately. The Liberal policies have been devastating. So I really hope the Conservatives aren't all talk and they actually deliver. Liberals did the same thing in 2015 to win.
โWe donโt have a target for the exchange rate. We have a target for inflation. We believe in flexible exchange rates.โ
Tiff confirms the Loonie will be sacrificed.
@SteveSaretsky It's intentional. They want to be in control of all aspects of Canadians' lives. They truly believe we are better off with more government and fewer freedoms. It's the only explanation that makes sense.
@SteveSaretsky Well, this is what happens when you elect incompetent and corrupt people to run your communities. Who's getting these contracts? Why is there no transparency on the bidding and negotiation process? With the size of this budget, you can hire an outside firms with cheaper labor.
@ShaneCarwin2@Christine_2088 You are talking about only one aspect of the inflation basket. What about the rest? Energy, food, construction etc...? Your cost of living has gone up 10x while wages maybe 3x and that's being generous.
@ShaneCarwin2@Christine_2088 How many of those 1 million immigrants are millionaires? Where is the opportunity in Canada for Canadians coming from? We barely have any functioning industries left. Red tape everywhere....country has become a playground for the rich while the poor pay for it.
@ShaneCarwin2@Christine_2088 False, just an illusion of opportunity as most of ones disposable income is constantly being eroded away. Increasingly so year after year, while wages are not keeping up.
@ShaneCarwin2@Christine_2088 You need context because that 63% doesn't say much. There are 2.2 millionaires(many, if not most, immigrants). If the 63% is achieved in the next 5 years, that's 1.3 new millionaires. While population growth from just immigration was 1 million in 2023.
