@hhpapazian@Igor_Freiberger In a recent job interview, I was asked if I would be interested in studying Armenian and Georgian scripts. So it might actually happen if I master it :) 🤘

Cool idea brought by @Igorgraphic for @gumroad to have a font tester, for type foundries or type designer to better sell their fonts.

@Heypentype@gumroad@shl Thanks! I think many more type designers are in the same situation and this is an important first step. If you know more type designers, please consider sharing the story with them. Each supporter getting one other is already a powerful impact. Cheers!
@gumroad@shl Hi guys, would like to start a conversation about the possibility of having a font sampler on the product page, so that our customers could test and try font as on classic font stores. How realistic is this idea? :)
@gumroad@shl@hhpapazian@_philpl@kereatype Check the top post, I am trying to push the Gumroad feature request to add font sampler. You can upvote here:

@Igorgraphic@gumroad@shl Definitely, Gumroad will benefit from this. YouWorkForThem, Creative Market, and others also provide a different types of product, but they have a type tester for the font products.
@gumroad@shl Given the current situation that independent type design is in, I think it would have a nice potential both commercially and ethically. You can get more info about the situation here:

Monotype slashes royalties to foundries from 50% down to 25% with its font subscription service, raises prices for customers by up to 10 times, & in the meantime its value is potentially up from $825M to $4 billion.
