Why are most of the litigants (whether one who has filed or one who has to defend) frustrated with the legal systems:
1. Frequent adjournments of cases
2. Delays on court days
3. Deliberate dragging of cases
4. Uncertainty about duration of litigation
5. Financial strain
Many of the above issues are at a macro level and cannot be solved by an individual lawyer but there are some things which can help manage expectations of the litigant:
1. Explain the broad procedure to be followed
2. Always show up for hearings and in case an adjournment is to be sought the same should with the knowledge of the client
3. Give regular updates on the case
4. Be willing to discuss different strategies and options to manoeuvre the litigation
Whenever the market corrects significantly
If you have the cash, buy.
If you have the knowledge/confidence, stay.
If you have the chills, rebalance to adjust to your risk profile.
If you have FOMO, block the noise.
If you have sleepless nights, you are doing something wrong!
