The Salvation Army in Ilford - trying to act justly, love mercy, & walk humbly with God. Home of @ilfordrcwc @recyclesilford @projectmalachi_ & other fun stuff
I've been blown away by the incredible generosity of my neighbours across Redbridge.
Our Refugee Donation Centre at the Town Hall has been open for only 2 days and yet already so many local people have donated prams & other essential items.
Thank you all so much.
Last week I joined @DrJohnClifton at the official launch of Recycles and @projectmalachi_
I'm so proud to have worked with @IlfordSA to deliver this groundbreaking accommodation & workspace for rough sleepers, giving them the support to build better lives.
Thanks to the @Ahmadiyya community of Redbridge for this wonderful donation of baby essentials for the Baby Bank to give to families facing difficult times this winter
This Christmas we will be delivering parcels of gifts to local families who will be struggling this Christmas - help us by donating online at https://t.co/6omGvSOL8G
Delighted to share that we’ve now got approval from @RedbridgeLive for the signage at Malachi Place! Really great news - looking forward to @recyclesIlford going full time in the new shop later in the Summer! @IlfordRecorder@johnclifton_

We’ve raised an amazing 15% of our £2000 target in the first hour since this fundraiser has been going to help us make our services and bikes available for free to key workers. Please take a moment to go to the link to get involved!

We’ve just had our first messy church on zoom! We shared the Palm Sunday story and now are going to do our messy crafts over the week ahead before coming back together to show and celebrate Easter together next week!

UPDATE: Following this afternoon’s update from the government, we have now made the decision to cancel Daisychain toddlers until further notice out of concern for the well being of families, volunteers and staff.
