@_hudsonc You’d be even more shocked to see the capital outside the palace. The streets are empty and homes are deserted because of no drinking water and electricity. Those who have returned are drinking directly from the river. while millions of dollars spent to restore a palace.
@_hudsonc Consistency matters. You call for the RSF to be designated a terrorist group, yet previously welcomed commanders linked to atrocities who later proved to be military spies operating within the RSF and leading drive atrocities. Accountability cannot be selective.
@_hudsonc That’s not a defection. These individuals are working for the SAF intelligence and have been involved from the beginning. They are responsible for all atrocities during the war, including in El Fasher, Al Jazira, and Khartoum
@MohanadElbalal You’re backing Islamist actors who were removed by a civilian revolution and later reimposed themselves through a coup and war. That’s the reality. Presenting them as legitimate defenders of Sudan while ignoring this undermines your argument.
@_hudsonc As Sudanese people, we expect your briefing to be impartial and to serve the best interests of the Sudanese people and their civilian movement, rather than legitimizing the Islamist control of the Sudanese army
