Happy Sunday… let’s talk about God’s love, mercy, grace… and obedience.

I talk a lot about His love. His mercy. His grace.

THAT UNDERSTANDING is what transformed my life…

Scripture says, “It’s the goodness of God that leads us to repentance.”(Romans 2:4)

His love and mercy pulled me out of a very dark place—literally.

Salvation is not earned. It’s not achieved by “trying harder.”

“By grace you have been saved through faith…” (Ephesians 2:8–9). You and I are saved through faith and trust in Jesus. Full stop.

It’s a gift. You take the gift from His hands. You simply receive it.

But on the other side of belief, something follows. In fact, it’s EVIDENCE of saving faith.

=>What follows? Obedience follows…

Not to earn His love—but becasue we already HAVE His love.

This is relationship: “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). And obedience pleases Him (1 John 3:22).

Now let’s be honest…

We ALL fail daily.
In motives… thoughts… words… actions… In what we did—and what we didn’t.

(And sometimes we draw circles of grace around our own sin… while taking a BASEBALL BAT to someone else’s).

Grace is level ground at the foot of the cross.

Obedience isn’t perfection—it’s direction. It’s direction!

And WHEN we stumble—we don’t run away. We repent. We run back toward Him.

Because Jesus paid it all. All to him we owe.
