don’t rush while you cook. take slow breaths. play music. set your oven temp with grace. infuse love into your fresh produce. stir your wild rice & grin at each grain. feel the knife blade do the work as you cut your filets. oh & add gratitude as a spice.

Vegetables are considered contraband. We had to buy bell peppers from the prison’s *black market* to make an attempt to put something healthy into our bodies. The risk was a “write up” which could get you more time.
