HOLY SHIT. I did it. I turned my last $1,500 in my Fomo account into about $50,000 so far on my journey of trading meme coins in 14 days.
I've taken meme coin trading seriously for about 2 weeks. I started trading at the beginning of July, and I heard so many stories about people making millions off meme coins. Obviously, they have much bigger bags than the average person who's trying to turn the few hundred or few thousand dollars they have to spare into real money, but I thought, fuck it, let me give it a try.
At the beginning of July, I loaded my account up with about $2,000 and decided to give trading a try. I'm a regular person who works a 9-5, but I've been in and out of the crypto space for some years now, so I was already familiar with the space and meme coins. I've made decent money, but I've also lost a shit ton of money.
I started off losing my first 4 trades and lost more than half my money. Then I won a few trades and had my first runner coin. I was up $8,000 at its peak, but the project got rugged. I still left with about $2,200 in profit.
I ended up losing my next 5 trades and losing big. It had me sitting there thinking, "Every coin I get into is going to shit. I'm never gonna do this."
I took a break and ended up going on vacation for about a month.
I came back from vacation with about $2,400 in my account and a dream.
I'm back and forth, losing and winning some, but nothing major. Then my friend I trade with gives me the base:0xb2000000000000000000004c27f6523082f41d01 call, and I enter with $500 at around a $900K MC. But this is the first project I'm really bullish on.
While $BASECAT is kind of steady and not making any moves, I end up getting rugged with the last $1,700 I had. At this point, I tell my friend, "This is it. BASECAT is my last trade."
I end up doing more research on BASECAT, and I become more and more bullish. So, like any degen, I deposit more money into my Fomo account and throw it into $BASECAT.
At this point, I'm all in about $1,500 in BASECAT.
Then the next morning, I wake up and BASECAT takes off and hits an $18M MC. I'm up about $18,000, and that's when I felt it.
The feeling.
The chase.
The possibilities.
This post isn't meant to get you to buy BASECAT. Please always do your own research before buying any coins. (I've learned this the hard way.)
This post is meant to give those like me some hope, some confirmation that there are people like you out here really doing it.
I'm currently sitting at about $50,000 in my Fomo account.
Here are the few things I've learned so far on my journey:
#1. DO NOT COPY TRADE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
This is literally how you lose your money. These big KOLs are not concerned about anyone but themselves. At the end of the day, everyone wants to exit their trade in the green.
#2. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
Take the time to confirm if this is a real project, if there is a Twitter page, or find out the lore behind the project before you enter what little money you're trading with and lose it all.
#3. STAY INFORMED.
Stay on CT, watch videos, watch streams, follow anyone who seems to know what they're talking about, or anyone who has a take that you align with. Find reliable people to learn from.
#4. TAKE PROFITS.
At the beginning, you have to win small. $273.97 is what you need to make every day to make $100,000. A small win to build confidence and build your bag is a great way to start.
#5. HAVE SOME CONVICTION.
If you genuinely believe in a project, have some balls to hold. Yes, this game is very risky, and yes, this may seem a bit counterintuitive to my last rule, but once you build your bag and genuinely like a project and have done your research, have conviction.
And remember: these aren't real numbers until you've taken profits and the money has hit your bank account.
#6. TRADE WITH A FRIEND(S).
Find one friend you're locked in with and give each other calls. If you don't have anyone to lock in with, join a community, Telegram, or make friends on CT.
Remember:
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

Threadguy reveals exactly what happens when you sit online for 12 hours a day.
"This is a beatable market. I am not a math quant, and I am never going to beat you at free cash flow analysis or dissecting earnings calls."
"But if there is one thing crypto taught me, it is that if you sit here for 12 hours a day and you are terminally hyper-online, you will find spots."
"And when you find a spot, you already know what you do. You load the truck up, you start it, and you press the gas pedal. Vision eyes forward."
