Tanner Bibee is the 9th Starting Pitcher in the Statcast Era to give up 5 or more home runs in the first three innings of a game. The last time this happened was the infamous Torpedo Bat game where Nestor Cortes somehow managed to give up five home runs in 2 innings #GuardsBall
@jayhaykid Okay got it. If the criteria is hit at least 100 PA's in 24 games and in those games have the .400 OBP and at least one home run, you are right. I'm pretty sure that Averill and Bazzana are the only Guards to do that too. Regardless I am hyped for the future here.
Uh... in a matter of minutes Kenny just went from looking like a genius to probably getting himself fired. Actually might be a new record for how quick that happened
@mlbfeeelit@mlbfeeelit after some research the last time was September 25, 2019 https://t.co/8xnCsCZ9F2

@gabbgoudy The Charlotte Hornets have not beaten the Los Angeles Clippers since 2017. That streak is at 14 games and looks like it’s the longest active
Let’s PLEASE not take this out of context. I was so impressed with how sagely - and sincerely - Dillon Gabriel talked previously about tuning out distractions. He told us there are entertainers (hot take artists) and there are competitors (he and his fellow QBs) and he doesn’t “ever want to get those lines twisted.” I therefore asked him to share his (wise) approach to keeping the external noise from, as he said, “infiltrating,” with the people watching.
This is as humble and respectful a young man as there is. Don’t malign him by assuming something that isn’t there.
#Guardians Angel Martinez hit the first recorded unicorn grand slam in extra innings during the Statcast era.
It was the third-shortest (non–inside-the-park) grand slam ever tracked by Statcast.
This isn’t even about winning at this point since we’re clearly selling. They constantly preach about not making acquisitions so they don’t block top prospects… then proceed to hold those top prospects who deserve a chance hostage in Columbus. You either have to develop or acquire… we have barely done either in the last decade
