The Pretoria Magistrate’s Court has heard testimony that a ballistic report for DJ Sumbody's assassination was kept inside the home of police analyst Lawrence Makgotloe.
Investigating officer in the murder of Vereeniging engineer Armand Swart testified that they found 23 other reports at Makgotloe's place.
Makgotloe is accused of manipulating forensic evidence to sabotage critical investigations, including the 2024 murder of Swart.
The court heard allegations that Makgotloe deliberately stalled the release of the ballistic report linked to Swart's murder with the intention of having the case struck off the roll. PM

Seeing Warrant Officer Sander breaking down in tears because of the treatment he was subjected to is sad to watch. I hope all those involved face the full might of the law. You can’t risk people’s livelihood and safety in this callous manner.
Can we crowd fund for Warrant Officer Sander as a national appreciation?

I’ve just learned that some South African Home Affairs officials allegedly work with agents who bring them clients that enter the country on visitor visas, only for them to later be granted asylum status. What makes it even more puzzling is that, in some cases, the visitor visa was issued for the purpose of visiting someone who is on asylum status. Make it make sense.😩😩😩
