@MMBeckerman@JeffBezos Maybe the plan is to send all the homeless people to space. A 2for1.
But probably those who wrecked the Earth want to leave the disaster to the homeless people and go wreck another earth so they don’t have to fix themselves. 🤔
#SSRI tapering is a dangerous scam. People who claim they * recovered after SSRI tapering likely never needed them in the first place. Problem is not SSRIs. Problem is misdiagnosis which tracks back to crappy mental health system #HHS doesn’t want to fix. @AllenFrancesMD
On Give NOLA Day, I want to give a huge shout out to those who shared personal testimonials about severe mental illness - an illness that, unlike cancer and other illnesses, is less talked about.

👇high-quality, beneficial, & practical psychiatric care—judicious vs eager in treatment provision, careful to negate chance it’s something else. Imagine an adult psychiatric patient comes in, truly suffering, and gets told “🤷♀️no biomarker so not gonna do anything else to help”
If @NYCMayor is serious about reducing the need for police response to mental illness, there needs to be greater capacity for inpatient psychiatric treatment.

People brainwashed into thinking that calling #police is a bad thing for someone in psychiatric #crisis gets people hurt or killed. Co-responder models exist where police and clinicians respond together. Anti co-responder groups need to be shut down.

Pot is just a drug, not medicine.
In @nytimes Review of Medical Cannabis Use Finds Little Evidence of Benefit.
“Researchers found a chasm between the health reasons for which the public seeks out cannabis and what gold-standard science actually shows about its effectiveness.”
"Rather than helping the homeless, Homekey units have allowed people to privately take drugs and overdose." -@AnaKasparian
In San Francisco 30% of all overdose deaths happen in housing for the homeless. LA won't tell us how many died. @MayorOfLA https://t.co/cQ6hMgVy2q
@CollinRugg@PoliticalTisms The responses to your smart advice are hilarious. Most people are clueless about substance induced psychotic disorders. At the very least, get genetic tests before using. Homeless and incarcerated related mental illnesses continue to rise.

NEW: Audio footage released revealing the moment an Alaska Airlines pilot tried shutting off the engines of a plane with 84 people on board mid-flight.
Joseph Emerson was tripping on mushrooms when he tried to crash the plane.
At the time of the incident, Emerson was off duty but was sitting in the extra seat of the cockpit.
After getting Emerson out of the cockpit, the pilots landed the plane.
Emerson told police he had eaten psychedelic mushrooms a couple of days before and thought he was dreaming.
He says he tried cutting the fuel supply by grabbing the red handles in the cockpit to wake himself up.
Emerson was charged with 83 counts of endangering another person and one count of endangering an aircraft.
He received a 50-day jail sentence with credit for time served and five years of probation, according to Fox News.
The anti-medication movement rippling through the @FDA is going the opposite direction as the new @POTUS EO on mitigating street crime and social disorder that essentially mandates tying *treatment to housing
