Maybe we're just gonna have to wait and accept the rebuild will take time. Too many changing parts does not make for consistency. The talent is there IMO, just not yet the structure or experience.

Uneducated idiots will push Whatsapp forwards (an American company by the way) on: "How 1.4Bn people will now teach US a lesson".

Illiterate politicians will take the Boing plane (again, an American company) for their meet in Delhi. Laser eye Ministers will preach: "everything is not West centric", while quietly filling forms for kid's change of citizenship.

We forget: that India over the last 3 decades has been deeply dependent on US Economy: right from jobs at TCS to our Tech Stack with AWS, Google, Azure etc. The co-dependency that India has on US is unreal.

This is not going away, unless our internal capabilities are built. To build these internal capacities: honest people need to be given sensible incentives to stay back. Merit needs to be rewarded.

To build any capacity: you need meritorious people to stay back. And, feel valued.

They should be allowed to build basic wealth. Not everything should be handed over to cronies.

And, it starts with government operating from good faith: eg, cutting GST on small business owners; cutting divided taxes; passing on the benefits of Oil price decrease; making political funding transparent.

Many of these steps can be taken in the next 3 months.
Let's wait and see if this happens.
