@futt_buckerson@chiMarcus17@agchris02@JFreshHockey Sure but Philly probably isn't finding a 1C half as good with any of those 4 firsts. If the Ducks don't match and Leo provides even 80% of that contract then it was worth it for the Flyers.
Not sure how you got 19M for Florida, they have 11M next year
@6Leafs89@NHLRumourReport@DarrenDreger Because the drop off in skill of available dmen after Ras is significant and Detroit needs anyone who can play top 4. Plenty of dmen also play on their off hand. ASP isn't top 4 ready (based on his minutes) but when he is one of him, Ras, or Mo can shift to the left side
@CofRedCentral Bad take here. He should not play against the teams where there is a high chance of him getting a season ending concussion/injury until he is more acclimated. The Blue Jackets have a menace on every forward line
@realnoahadler99 @stinky_poke Weegar was criminally underpaid when he signed that deal, with the cap about to skyrocket that deal will only be even better. This is like saying Dahlin shouldn't get his deal because Makar makes 9M
@SlipperyNodd@LDDono@OldStraddle70@BigHeadHcky In Goals Saved Above Expected per 60
Pyotr Kochetkov - 0.209
Joel Hofer - 0.301
Stuart Skinner - 0.141
Logan Thompson - 0.003
Jeremy Swayman - 0.105
Igor Shesterkin - 0.095
Ilya Sorokin (his rookie year was 20/21) - 0.118
Dustin Wolf - 0.386
It's not even close
@Hutson_Muse@mathewjdp@NHL@NHLdotcom You can literally check these numbers on free sites yourself Puckiq tells you % TOI vs elite competition. NaturalStattrick tells you team or player xGA/60.
For a 19 yo Celebrini's defensive game at the NHL level is incredible. Hutson is a liability defensively so far
@SlipperyNodd@JokerPickz@NHL@NHLdotcom 10? Name 1.
Also Makar had 50 points in 57 games in the Covid shortened year. Hutson will probably total higher but he's already played more games than Makar did
@CofRedCentral We are still too close to the playoffs for him to get moved during the break. Wait until we see how that post break road trip goes then they'll decide
@2003nicko@FriedgeHNIC This is essentially the same as trading Mcdavid for Stone, McNabb, and a 1st because you think Draisaitl can handle the offense and Stones defensive play is important. (AD is as injury prone as Stone)
@CofRedCentral Because Hunt probably won't even play a single game. He's there as insurance for another injury. Let Pelts keep playing well in the A and call him up when a long term spot opens up on the roster
@sane_opinion@WesGilbertson@miketgould Placing someone on waivers does not mean they will be sent down, nor does it mean they can't be called back up. Exposing Hanley to waivers means he could get claimed, which eliminate part of the logjam
@aTeske14@Fan960Steinberg Aspirot and Bishop are on waivers right now, they have to pass through that before he can officially be sent down. I am surprised at how early Poirier was cut this year though considering he was one of the late cuts last year.
@AlbertaBob6211@WoodhouseKeegan@CofRedCentral Lost the Lindholm trade? 6 months after that deal was made Calgary has Kuzmenko, Gridin, Brzustewicz, Jurmo, Misa , and Jamison from that deal, Vancouver has nothing.
