Excited to share our recent work on layered oxide cathodes published in @J_A_C_S !! We modulated Fe-O and Mn-O bonds via Li/Cu substitution to achieve high voltage and structural/cycling stability. Funded by the IRHPA program @ANRF. Congrats @Imaghosh1 !!

From reading your papers to meeting you all, it was an overwhelming experience for me. Thank you #ICMAT2023 for providing an opportunity to interact with these great scientists @Manthiram_UT@CroguennecLaur1
Prof. Shinichi Komaba.
Though I couldn't get a pic with @C_MASQUELIER
It is with very heavy heart and sadness that I inform you that our beloved Professor John B. Goodenough passed away yesterday afternoon. We have lost a giant whose breakthrough contributions to solid-state science and batteries is immeasurable. May his soul rest in peace.
India's investment to R&D is stuck at 0.65% since 2014. It is embarrassing that India spends $43 per capita in research. Even Brazil ($173) or Malaysia ($293) spends much more. $5 trillion economy will remain a pipedream if knowledge generation within is ignored.
The Integrated PhD programme in Chemical Sciences @jncasr is a degree course combining MS and PhD, allows students to be a part of cutting-edge research. JAM qualified students can apply. Last date for application is 19th April!!
"Long Live Chemistry!"
As NCU embarks upon its 15th year, we present the journey of our department and its people, along with an informative aid to the multifarious courses offered and research work pursued at NCU. Come join us! @jncasr

Isn’t it fascinating how alloying something specific in solids can completely change the bonding mechanism from covalent to a unique ‘#metavalent’ bonding that holds the power to boost its #thermoelectric performance! Want to know more? Please visit my poster. #RSCPoster#energy

Our recent work on NASICON anode is just out in Journal of Materials Chemistry A!!! Unveiling a High Capacity Multi-redox (Nb5+/Nb4+/Nb3+) NASICON-Nb2(PO4)3 Anode for Li- and Na-ion Batteries; https://t.co/EHBx9GtyoL This work was carried out in collaboration with @goths19
Pleased to share our recent work on Zn-ion batteries in
J. Mater. Chem. A. We show the impact of propylene carbonate addition to suppress water-derived parasitic reactions occurring at both the Zn anode and the V2O5 cathode.
